This article discusses the possibilities of using mobile games as an effective means of adaptive physical culture for primary school children with mild mental retardation. The influence of game activities on the development of motor skills, coordination abilities, psychoemotional state, and social adaptation is analyzed. The features of organizing mobile games for this category of children are described.

This article discusses the possibilities of forming communicative skills in children of primary school age with delay of mental development through game activities. The article analyzes the impact of play activities on improving the ability to defend one’s position in an argumentative manner, developing the ability to show interest in peers, and developing the ability to coordinate one’s actions with those of a group of peers and to adequately assess one’s own behavior and the behavior of others in younger students with mental retardation.
